Penny's First class in the KID'S SUMMER PROGRAM was a lot of fun. She brought in the microscope, and nearly every stone in the store was magnified. We are looking forward to more classes with the kids
Juls has been having some great classes on Meditation and how to reach the center of your brain. She will be repeating that class so if you haven't attended one, please do; they are very informative

Dec 14th Marcus gave a very informative class on basic meditation techniques. Even us old timers
picked up some new ideas, and the novices got some confidence to give meditation a try.
It was interesting to hear how vague the line is between meditation and hypnosis.
If anyone is interested in Meditation do not hesitate to come to one of our guided meditation.
Both Lori's & Mike's meditations are user friendly.
Dec 7th Indigo Nites was fun; we down loaded free birth charts from www.alabe.com and compared our charts. It was revealing and funny and some of interpretation of the planets influences were right-on, while others were contraversal, But we all had a good time and enjoyed the evening.
We had a talk about anger and how we could handle it. The guys were more inclined to use physical activity to diffuse it, while the gals were more inclined to stifle it, and hold it in. Hmmm.

Everyone has been having fun creating their own Spirit Cards with Juls, now she will repeat the 3rd Class of the Choose Your Personal Stones, due to the fact that most of the students had other commitments and didn't make it to the class. So we'll try it again.

Do you see or hear things, that other people don't? Like what? give my own examples-Seeing spirits, hearing my name called, seeing cat's eyes all over after asking for protection.
Our introduction to Huna was fun, thanks to those that attended. It is interesting that there are so many things that are similar between many of the esoteric teachings.
WE had a good time at the Exceptional Childrens class this Saturday (09/06/08), and even thought we thought it was going to be the last class, we are going to be continueing them for a while longer. We will have one next Sat

Seasonal Celebration Groundhog Day is a fun day to spoof on the innate intelligence of animals, or is it a day to honor the old ways in disguise. It is said that Phil, the Punxsutawney Groundhog, will predict the future of spring; if he sees his shadow there will be 6 more weeks of winter. If not, there will be an early spring. Groundhog Day is February 2nd, as is Candlemas, also known as Imbolc. The day was brought to and celebrated by the first settlers in Pennsylvania as Candlemas. It became Groundhog Day in the 1800’s. It has also been celebrated by the pagans in the old world for centuries. It is declared that "For as the sun shines on Candlemas Day, so far will the snow swirl in May..." Imbolc is one of the four major Celtic holidays honoring the turning of the seasons and the Goddess Brigid (Saint Brigit). It is celebrated with fires and candles. It is also known for weather prognostication by watching to see if serpents and badgers came out of their burrows, predicting an early spring. Therefore it should be a day to enjoy life and celebrate the wheel of the year.
